Learning Math Year 2 (Number Facts

Knowing and using number facts including:
• Derive and recall all addition and subtraction facts for each number to at least 10, all pairs with totals to 20 and all pairs of multiples of 10 with totals up to 100
• Understand that halving is the inverse of doubling and derive and recall doubles of all numbers to 20, and the corresponding halves
• Derive and recall multiplication facts for the 2, 5 and 10 times-tables and the related division facts; recognise multiples of 2, 5 and 10
• Use knowledge of number facts and operations to estimate and check answers to calculations

Learning Math Year 2

At the start of Year 2, most children have already acquired a basic knowledge of numbers and place value upon which they build their understanding of the number system. They count in twos, fives and tens and have started to derive and recall number facts.
They solve problems from real life and in mathematical contexts and become more independent and competent early mathematicians. Most children can order numbers to at least 100 using the vocabulary and notation of greater than and less than. They can count in 2s, 5s, 10s and 100s and identify the numbers on a number line to help with calculations.

Fun learn and game

Learning with fun more effective to teach kids rather than doing normal activities and quizzes  www.pearsonschoolsandfecollege offer gameskids to learn and revisied back what they have learn in school.

Learning Math Year 1 (Solid Shape)

This song help kids to understand tthe shape basic and to teach them how to recognize and understanding shape. in year 1 means to
  •  Visualise and name common 2-D shapes and 3-D solids and describe their features; use them to make patterns, pictures and models
  • Identify objects that turn about a point or about a line recognise and make whole, half and quarter turns
  • Visualise and use everyday language to describe the position of objects and direction and distance when moving them, for example when placing or moving objects on a game board

Learning Math Year 1 (Subtract)

Subtraction is done by 'taking away' and find a 'difference' by counting up.

Learning Math Year 1 (Calculation)

Calculation for addition can be done in any order, addition is simple step that every kids would need to learn make it fun and educational .

Knowing a number is essential for the kids to understand math they also need to practice their writing so the process of learning is much more faster. This video show a game that was built for kids education, it's much more fun to and beneficial for our kids to laern and have fun at the same time. Learning Math Year 1 (Counting)

This video will provide kids with interesting Video, Song and Fun while they learn the basic in counting, make the process much more easy to absorbed by kids ^0^.
By the end of Year 1, most children should be able to Count at least 20 everyday objects, read and write numbers to at least 20.

Learning Math Year 1

In Year 1, Most children can understand the basic concepts of number, shape and measurement and see mathematics as an exciting and practical element of the curriculum. They say and use the number names. They can count accurately and recognise that numbers may represent a quantity, position or label. Teachers provide a balance of whole-class activity involving counting, problem solving in groups and independent work where children apply and practise their learning. This mix of mental, practical and informal written work engages and motivates children and fosters purposeful attitudes to mathematics. We can make the processof learning fun so that the children won't  be bored or tired of the same question and quiz.
